Busy busy busy....

Oh man! Last week was so incredibly busy - we were doing something every single night!

We had a work picnic, Olivia's 12 month check up and her 12 month photos, then a weekend at the lake. 

Check up went great - super healthy, doing very well, super tall (95 percentile)! So doing great up until the shots... she doesn't like being held down and we needed to do that for the shots (too squirmy).  So she was upset to begin with.  Then came the shots.  Three of them.  Poor girl - I felt like crying for her!  After a few minutes she got over it and was smiling and laughing again.

Her 12 month photos went ok...Olivia is cutting her top teeth and of course was very fussy the day of the photos.  Add in that we drive 45 minutes to take the photos and she is a wreck and doesn't want to leave my side.   Our photographer {Christy Bode Photography} posted a sneak on Facebook and it turns out she got some good ones! Can't wait to see the others!

Birthday Party Fun!

We started the day happy and excited for our birthday!

 We even got to open some presents from Grandma and Grandpa before the rest of the guests arrived.

 Of course she needed to stand on it first!

 We got a little overwhelmed by all the people and took a nap during lunch.  After we woke up - snack time!

While her cousins helped her open her presents, she was more interested in a leaf!

It was a great day! The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything better for her 1st birthday party (although her dad will tell you that next year we are getting a bouncy house that is big enough for adults!)
