Friday finally...

It's finally Friday and I can't help but think about last week... when we were already up in Northern Minnesota fishing....

Oh, if I could just live up there life would be great! It is just SO beautiful I can hardly stand it.  The lakes are great, the fishing is great, it isn't city-ish (if that makes sense). 

Instead of fishing, this weekend will be spent at a great friends baby shower (yay!) and getting the house cleaned up for Olivia's 1st Birthday Party which is already next weekend! What.  The.  Heck.  How did that happen so fast!?

Our Weekend

We headed up to Northern Minnesota and enjoyed water sports, fishing, boating, cards and fun!

Olivia did FANTASTIC with Grandma and Grandpa - no fussing at all. There were even some family members that she didn't know and she was good with it.  I am so proud of how she did (and how I did without her!) We are currently thinking about doing a Boundary Waters trip next summer and am much more comfortable with that idea now that I know she handles well without us!

Started with a Twins Baseball Game - Awesome! We even got promoted to better padded seats because of the baby belly!

Lake Weekend!

So excited for a weekend up North! Here comes a weekend of fishing, boating, swimming (if it is warm enough) and good old fashioned card games!

I am trying something new this weekend (fishing wise). I am bound and determined to catch a fish with a gummy worm as my bait.  I keep telling my husband that I am going to catch something BIG! He doesn't believe me but I always catch the biggest fish out of the two of us. 

Bring on the gummy worms! I'm going to catch me something big!

 I also have a pretty scientific experiment that I will conduct over the weekend.

Do fish like regular gummy worms better or sour gummy worms.
