Sweet Summertime...

There is nothing better then a trip to the pool on a hot summer day.  When I was growing up my hometown did not have an outdoor pool - only an indoor lap pool which wasn't the most fun.  I remember going on trips to some area water parks and it was the best! 

My husband grew up with a pool just down the road and has so many good memories of summers spent at that pool with his friends. 

Now, we get to introduce our sweet girl to the pool....and she loved it!  We will be going back often!

 

She is definitely a water baby! After spending an hour at the pool we came home and spent some time in the bath.  The only thing she doesn't like is when I rinse off the shampoo...but she liked when the water fell on her head at the pool.

4th of July Weekend!

We had a great 4th of July Weekend! We spent the weekend up at the cabin with some of Olivia's cousins (4 years old & 2 years old) so we were busy!

We spent a lot of time on the boat, floating in the lake and playing at the beach.  The weather was perfect!

Olivia has been perfecting her walking and she thinks she is a pro (you know, because she has been doing it a week now!) With the other two girls walking it may have helped her see she could walk all the time.  She is still a bit wobbly but she balances herself really well. 

One thing learned from this weekend is that we need to work on sharing! Olivia loved taking toys away from the other girls.  She also got really jealous every time I would play with another baby/kid. Pretty hilarious if you ask me!
