I am sorry I never got to come visit you before you went to heaven. I am so glad you are no longer in pain. They say in heaven the blind can now see. I hope you are taking in everything you haven't been able to see for so long. Be sure to watch over Grandma, she needs to feel your presence. Please know that we all miss you very much. We will think of you often and tell your stories to our little ones. Rest in Peace Grandpa. We love you.

ReplyDeleteWe are currently going through this with my Ganny. She had a stroke on Sunday (she's 96), and they've given her 48 hours...though no one knows that but the Lord. We've all said our goodbyes (every day since Saturday), just waiting for her to breathe her last breath, but she's holding on pretty tight.
It's so sad, but thank goodness we have Hope in Heaven!

Thanks Annie! He passed on Thursday night last week. The baby and I headed to Iowa for his funeral/wake on Monday and Tuesday. Prayers for your Granny (and your family!).
