I forgot to post pictures of the cupcakes I made for Olivia's birthday!
For her birthday party we went with a Cookie Monster theme. I wanted it to be more girly so I added pink as an accent color. I found my inspiration on Pinterest (of course!) and they turned out so good!
I may have gone a little overboard with deserts - we also had chocolate chip cookies, the cupcakes, and a large sheet cake! Good thing my family has a sweet tooth - everything was gone!

DIY Snowman Decor
I know it is kind of early for Christmas stuff - but my work had a 'crafty' fair that
I went to so I needed to make some stuff!
I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to re-create!
Here are the supplies:
Muffin Tin - 6 count (2.99 at Walmart)
Spray Paint
Regular Paint
Paint Pen
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun (Not Pictured)
Step 1: Spray Paint the muffin tins red
Step 2: Get your white paint out and paint the circles white!
Step 3: Decorate! I hot glued the nose shape and painted orange over top. The eyes and mouth are just painted on with black paint. The rosy red checks are sponged on with a circle sponge. I used the paint pen to write "Let it Snow" and to draw little snowflakes all over. Then I watered down some white paint, dipped a paint brush and shook it over the entire thing to make it look like snow!
Step 4: Add a ribbon and you are set! Such a fun decoration for the holidays!

Back at it...
I am officially back to work which is super sad but at the same time it is good (if that makes sense at all...)
I hate leaving my little peanut at daycare - I would much rather be the one receiving all her baby smiles all day. Nope, our awesome daycare lady gets them all! So back to work.... it's like riding a bike. Seriously! It feels like I never even left which is pretty weird.
My workload isn't completely full yet so I have been browsing pinterest (of course!)
Ok - I know it is only the middle of October but I keep finding myself checking out Christmas stuff! WHAT!? I think with a little one in our family I just can't wait and want to make it super special. AND I am excited to take some pictures of her for our holiday card - with ideas I found off of pinterest.

Is it Fall yet?
I LOVE FALL! It is my most favorite season.
The crisp fresh air, sweaters, scarves, jackets, boots, pumpkins, latte's, crunchy leaves.....
Pinterest is making me anxious for the next season...

Zucchini Bread Muffins with Cream Cheese Frosting
We went to the Farmer's Market a couple weeks ago and loaded up on fresh veggies (YUM!). We got this gigantic zucchini that we planned on grilling up. Our awesome neighbors then brought over a load more of zucchini and we couldn't say no. On to Pinterest I went to look for recipes that had zucchini in them. I have never had zucchini bread before so I thought I would try that. After much searching I found this recipe for Frosted Zucchini Bread Muffins.
I thought they looked good because lets face it - anything with cream cheese frosting is most likely going to be amazing!
They were a hit! Everyone loved them - they are definitely on the list to make again.
Here is a tip: when I was making the frosting I made a double batch (because it didn't look like there would be enough - there was). So now I have a tupperwear full of extra frosting that tastes really good with animal crackers! So if you want a tasty treat after those muffins are gone, make a bit more frosting! YUM!

Twinkle Twinkle....
Project #1 for Baby Girl's Nursery
Saw the inspiration for this on Pinterest and just HAD to re-create it. I purchased the vinyl from a seller on Etsy, bought the board at Lowes and had them cut it to size, and the paint is a sample by Valspar (gotten from Lowes) it only cost 3 bucks! Win win!
I painted the board with a pink that matches the fabric purchased for the valance and crib skirt. After letting the paint dry for a couple days I applied the vinyl - which was super easy. Turned out great! Can't wait to hang it!

Leftover Peeps
Happy Easter! (Yesterday). We had a great Easter weekend with the family - but somehow ended up with a couple boxes of yellow Peeps which Dan loves but I don't really care for.
What? Are you judging me now for not loving marshmallow covered in sugar shaped like a bird! I can have one - but they are just too sweet for me. So I hopped on Pinterest and found some creative things to make with Peeps - all of which I plan on trying!
Chocolate covered Peeps
Hot chocolate with Peeps as marshmallows!
This one looks really good - Smores using Peeps! Who doesn't love smores?

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing
Ever been sitting at work browsing Pinterest (for hours) thinking "Man I wish I would have won the Mega Millions so I wouldn't have to work and so all this sweet stuff I am pinning could really be mine."
Yeah that's me today.
Seriously how cool is this bookshelf?
Of course I would have to get a much bigger house so I could display this thing correctly! I can dream right?
