Pumpkin Carving!

This year was Olivia's first hands-on experience with pumpkin carving!

Last year she was just a couple months old so she just got to watch.  This year she got down and dirty and helped clean the pumpkin out!

 Daddy is pulling the insides out and Olivia is putting them back in!

 She kept sticking her hands in the eyes and mouth of the jack-o-lantern!

Miss Independent...

Cupboard locks were invented because of this girl!

At our house we have them on everything and she will still pull and try to open every single drawer and cupboard.  At the lake we only have them on the necessary ones (ie: under the sink where the cleaning stuff is).  Of course Olivia discovered this right away!

She loves pulling out the pots and pans and playing drums with them!

 So innocent right?!

Kind of a trouble maker - but so cute.  She also has started throwing her dirty diapers in the garbage after we change her.... of course the changing her part is still a HUGE ordeal.  When do they get over that?

My little girl knows exactly what she isn't supposed to be doing and she LOVES doing it!

Playing in the Grass

We played outside in the grass for this first time!

Olivia thought it was interesting to say the least.  She was wearing capris and did not like the feel of the grass on her legs at all! She was ok when she was standing up though!

We are loving the warm(er) weather! She loves going on walks in the stroller - looking at the trees, birds, cars, people.... pretty much everything!

She had officially had enough at this point!

Wishing for Summer

How cute is this little girl in her first swim suit?!

Her Grandma bought her this little suit so she could be ready for an Infant Swimming class that we will be taking next month - I can't wait! I hope she loves the water! She loves her baths so I think it will be alright!

Why are tiny baby shoes so darn cute?!

 

She wants to shout it to the world! She loves her new shoes....JOKING! She has no idea what is on her feet when I put them on. Have you ever put booties on a dog and watched them walk? That is how she walks in shoes. Hilarious! I probably need to get some softer shoes to start out with - not hard-soled Converse's!

Bluum Box for Baby

I have seen this around and thought I would try it out for month to see how we liked it.

While the delivery was pushed back almost an entire month - I did enjoy receiving the box in the mail.  I LOVE getting mail, especially fun baby stuff! I received their 'baby box' which included:

* A fun baby toy that Olivia loves
* Small container of baby safe dish liquid
* Baby lip balm with sunscreen
* Soy nut mix - for mom!
* Small tube of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream
* Sample of Tender Defender
* 2 corresponding coupons

While I love the idea of getting a mystery box of goodies picked out for Olivia at her specific age, I am not sure if this is the ticket for me.  They are getting bigger boxes for the baby's which is a plus - and will be offering more full sized products.  I think the price on the new boxes is $25 - which may be a little spendy for my tastes, especially when I might only use half of what is in there. 

Any suggestions on any other services that are awesome and don't cost too much?!
