Birthday Cupcakes

I forgot to post pictures of the cupcakes I made for Olivia's birthday!

For her birthday party we went with a Cookie Monster theme.  I wanted it to be more girly so I added pink as an accent color. I found my inspiration on Pinterest (of course!) and they turned out so good!

I may have gone a little overboard with deserts - we also had chocolate chip cookies, the cupcakes, and a large sheet cake! Good thing my family has a sweet tooth - everything was gone!

Birthday Party Fun!

We started the day happy and excited for our birthday!

 We even got to open some presents from Grandma and Grandpa before the rest of the guests arrived.

 Of course she needed to stand on it first!

 We got a little overwhelmed by all the people and took a nap during lunch.  After we woke up - snack time!

While her cousins helped her open her presents, she was more interested in a leaf!

It was a great day! The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything better for her 1st birthday party (although her dad will tell you that next year we are getting a bouncy house that is big enough for adults!)

Birthday Outfit Sneak

I went searching for the perfect birthday outfit for Olivia and just wasn't finding what I was envisioning....So instead of purchasing something I was on the fence about - I went and made my own!

I found a cute tank top that I liked and a ruffled pink skirt (both from Target) and found some perfect pink sparkly fabric to create the ONE.  I love how it turned out and can't wait for her to wear it at her party!

Birthday Sneak

Here is a quick birthday sneak! I have been planning her birthday party (in my head) for a couple months now! Her invites are designed, printed, and ready to go!

Can't wait to see how everything comes together! I love planning parties!

Am I crazy?

This past weekend I spent a little time on Pinterest and started looking through ideas for Olivia's 1st birthday party! (Even though she just turned 5 months old!)

I asked the husband if he thought it was crazy and he said Yes.

I am just so excited!
