Weekend Plans!

The husband is going to be gone this weekend pheasant hunting.  That means - Olivia and Mama's Weekend of Fun!

I always over plan on the weekends - especially when I am alone with the baby, but here is what I WANT to get done this weekend...

Day at the Zoo!

We had a very nice day on Saturday and nothing to do - so we went to the Zoo! (hey did that rhyme?) This was the 2nd time Olivia had been to the Como Zoo - the first time she was about 6 weeks old!

She had a great time, loved looking at the animals! The only one that scared her a bit was the wolf.  I think it was because it looked like a dog and currently she is afraid of those.

We had a great weekend, loved the zoo and the nice weather!

 

Memorial Day Weekend on the Lake

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the lake this year (as we almost always do!)

It was a bit chillier than years past... never warming up past sixty degrees and it hardly stopped raining. 

Didn't stop up from having a great weekend though! Got the boat lift and dock in, the husband went for his first (freezing cold) ski of the year, and some quality playing with the baby!

Olivia's Baptism

This past weekend we had Olivia's Baptism! We choose my brother and his wife are to be her sponsors.  I was very surprising that she let the Pastor hold her, she is pretty particular these days! Overall, it was a great weekend

 Her God Parents got her a really cute present.  In the picture she is holding a Pearl.  They are going to get Olivia a single pearl on each of her birthdays and by the time she is 18 she will have her very own pearl necklace! Such a cute idea!

Thanksgiving!

I took a TON of pictures this Thanksgiving (Olivia's 1st!) but..... they are all on my camera just waiting to be taken off - so instead here are a couple of photos some of my family members had taken!
